Through a safe and supported environment, we will dig deep and explore your past to get to the root cause of your anxiety. You will be guided as you process trauma and events that may be the culprit of causing anxiety. Together, we will identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors that aren’t serving you and possibly contributing to your anxiety. You will learn coping skills such as deep breathing, meditation, and progressive muscle relaxation, problem-solving stress management to help keep you grounded and reduce your anxiety. Therapy that focuses on decreasing or alleviating anxiety can consist of different types of therapy and will always be tailored to your individual needs.

Yes, I love working with teenagers and helping them build skills to manage their anxiety. I will guide them in exploring where their anxiety comes from and help them work through it so they feel relief and can move forward.

Yes, anxiety can come back. However, I will work with you and teach you skills that you can use for the rest of your life. When we get close to ending therapy, we will discuss ways to identify triggers and how to get through it. So, if it comes back you will be prepared

Yes, I will teach you skills to help decrease and deal with panic attacks . Sometimes medication is needed and I will help you determine whether you think you need medication. I will also help you find a psychiatrist to help you get support.
